Paul+O Architects Ltd. is a young Architectural practice set up by Paulo
Marto and Paul Acland in May 2002. Between us we have experience working on a
broad range of projects and have a portfolio of works which includes
office fit-outs, restaurants, shops, gardens and domestic work.
Paul+O Architects received attention nationally through one of their first
projects, the controversial Wilderness Project - a new country house
on a greenfield site in Suffolk - one of the few contemporary houses to achieve
planning permission under Gummer's Law, and one of the last.
As a practice we seek to design buildings which are appropriate to and are
inspired by their context and function. We believe in designing buildings
which are contemporary, honest to the age in which they are built and sympathetic
to their surroundings.
Our services include a full architectural design, project administration,
landscape and interior design.
